Summer camp for kids and critters!

On Firday Aug 12 We took Fiona and Merlin to Wekiva River Preserve in Apopka Florida to visit the kids and Critters summer camp program run by C.A.T. The Center for Animal Therapies. There were approx 21 children present who got a hands on chance to meet the big horses. Both Merlin and Fiona seemed to enjoy themselves a great deal and the children had fun too. We spoke of the responsibilities of owning a horse, the care involved with horses, equine safety and nutrition as well as reading body language to ensure proper communication with a horse you are working in harmony with. We look forward to  meeting the kids at the Fall Kids and critters program again hosted by C.A.T. Hope to see you there!
